Roadmap
What we are working towards, grouped by theme. There are no dates here on purpose: a date on a roadmap is a promise, and we would rather tell you when something ships, in the changelog, than when we hope it will. The order inside each section is roughly the order we expect to get to things, and it changes as we learn what you need. Tell us what matters to you at hello@updawg.net.
Now is being built, next is what comes after it, and later is planned but not started.
Leaving beta
Section titled “Leaving beta”- Next: a public status page with incident history, in place of the status section on updawg.net.
- Next: an SLA on paid plans, once the beta ends.
Integrations
Section titled “Integrations”- Now: the Slack app in the Slack Marketplace, so it can be added from Slack’s own directory.
- Later: the Terraform and OpenTofu provider in the OpenTofu registry, as well as the Terraform Registry where it is today.
Organizations and identity
Section titled “Organizations and identity”- Next: SAML single sign-on, alongside OpenID Connect.
- Next: managing many organizations as one, for MSPs and larger companies: one place to see and act across them, and one bill.
- Later: sign in with Microsoft.
Trust in what runs on your hosts
Section titled “Trust in what runs on your hosts”- Now: build provenance for the agent and the services: every release binary attested to the commit and workflow that built it, so you can check where it came from.
- Later: reproducible builds of the agent, so anyone can rebuild a release and get the same bytes.
- Next: load testing the gateway at 50,000 agents, with the results published, and repeated before each major release.
Already shipped
Section titled “Already shipped”Data residency, customer-held signing keys, compliance reports, SCIM and the Slack app have shipped during the beta. What shipped and when is in the changelog.
